Paul Oughton
Back lane life

From his series of mining paintings, although heavily influenced by the Pitmen Painters and Northern Art, Paul injects his own style and humour into his work and produces gritty, striking paintings. They are proving very popular and are selling well.

Paul Oughton is a self taught artist and has been painting for four years. He lives and works from his studio in Houghton Le Spring.
