Sigvard Hansen (1859 - 1938)
Country Lake

Excellent painting of a country scene with a young boy and woman walking along a lakeside path which is unusual as most of his landscapes do not feature people. Exhibited widely, at the Royal Academy, London, L’Exposition de L’ Academie in Paris, The British Art Society, and the Palais de Glace in Munich. The Musee d’Aarhus et Ribe (Jutland) has several of his works in their permanent collection.
