G R was a sculptor and painter in oil and occasionally watercolours, of genre, still life 
and townscapes in his native Italy, favouring, in particular, the beautiful architecture 
of Venice, Milan and Rome. 
His paintings and sculptures are as popular today as they were     
during his lifetime when he found a ready market for his art.
