Ken Frewin has been preoccupied with the development of landscapes, moods and forms, and the conflict of sea and coastline. This is a lovely example of his work in which those conflicts between landscape and the weather are studied in detail.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Kenneth Frewin b. 1936

Born Inverness 10th June 1936 and a painter in oil and watercolour. He  studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and painting at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen. He was influenced by a diverse range of artists, from Modigliani and Joan Eardley, to Rene Magritte. He has been preoccupied with the development of landscapes, moods and forms, and the conflict of sea and coastline.
