Cattle grazing by a river

A wonderful pastoral scene believed to be southern England as this is where he painted extensively. Dipnall is a well known contemporary artists whose work is internationally renowned. To the rear of the frame can be found the stamps of Leornard Rollason, Cornwall Galleries based in Newquay who have been selling quality oil paintings since the 1960's. This painting is from a private collection.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

David Dipnall (b.1941)

David dipnall was born in Scotland but moved to southern England during the war and was educated at Portsmouth Grammar School. He is best known for his oil paintings featuring pastoral scenes in the south of England. His work has been heavily reproduced in print form and is one of the best selling artists in print. His originals are held in high regard and collected internationally.
