1978 appointed Head of the Art Department, Haifa University.
Prizes: 1962 Biennale, Paris;
1969 Jerusalem Prize for Painting and Sculpture;
1972 Represented Israel at Venice Biennale;
1990 Ish-Shalom Prize for Life's Work in Art.
1975 Head of the Art Department, Israel T.V., Jerusalem;
1976 Founded the "Levitan" Group together with Shmuel Ackerman and Michael Grobman;
1981-83 Consul for Sculpture and Science, Embassy of Israel, Rome.
Made wall paintings in Kfar Uria; Central Post Office Building, Jerusalem; Stone and Agron Schools, Jerusalem.
Died 1990, Jerusalem.
