Born 1962 at Newtownards, Co Down. Susan Webb comes from a very artistic family. She received training from a young age from her artist father, the distinguished Irish artist Kenneth Webb and godmother Clare Cryan, and by the time she left school, she was an accomplished artist. She held her first solo show at the age of 18 in Kenny's Gallery, Galway. Her work combines her love of horses and a great appreciation of the Irish landscape. She was heavily influenced by Peter Curling, the well known equestrian artist. She is currently resident tutor for the Irish School of Landscape Painting and holds frequent exhibitions at both Kenny's Gallery, Galway, and the James Gallery, Dalkey.
