Geoffrey Gillespie
The arrival of the Duke

 

This stunning pen and ink drawing by Gillespie was completed when he was a young man and bought by James Alder(snr) who bought a number of his works. It is in the style of Aubrey Beardsley a member of the aesthetic movement and friend to Oscar Wilde.

Geoffrey Gillespie

A graduate in Advertising Design, Gillespie has a very successful career in Album Cover Art, in which he is internationally renowned. Still working today.
