A relatively rare and very attractive oil painting by this extremely popular Northumbrian artist depicting the entrance to the River Tyne, showing Tynemouth and the Lord Collingwood monument and the High Lights and the Low Lights at North Shields beyond, with the infamous Black Midden Rocks on the north side and a tug guiding a freighter past The Groyne and South Shields on the south side.
