Angus Rands (1922-85)

Landscape painter in pastel and watercolour. Born Ilkley, Yorkshire, he studied pharmacy before becoming a professional artist in his 30s. Showed at the Mall Galleries in the 1970s and many northern public galleries. Contributed to 'The Artist' magazine and 'Leisure Painter'. Lived in Harrogate.
