Peter Biegel 1913 - 1989

Painter of field sports subjects, born in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire. After Downside School and a period in business he studied at the Lucy Kemp-Welch School of Animal Painting, Bushley, at Bournemouth School of Art and worked with sporting painter Lionel Edwards. The dealer J L W Bird and other galleries in Britain and North America showed Biegel's work.
